Ans- Sushila’s parents don’t want to send Sushila to a university because they are not rich and want her to get married.

Ans- No, her parents’ marriage was not a love marriage. Her mother agreed to marry her father without having seen him before and without even knowing his name.

Ans- Sushila says that her mother was lucky because her father gave her all the kindness she required.

d.    What’s Sushila’s suggestion about money to pay for her studies?

Ans- She suggests that instead of saving money for her marriage, they should spend it on her education.

Ans- If I were Sushila’s father, I would spend money on education rather than on marriage.
